Mandarin Mixed Green Salad

The flavor in this salad will keep you coming back for more! The dressing with the mandarin slices is delicious! Pair this salad with your next meal, it’s a must! You can easily make it your own by adding a little extra here and something new there, enjoy!

Serves: 6 | Serving Size: 1/6 of dressing/Salad

Ingredients:

  • Dressing:
    • 1/4 cup olive oil
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons white sugar (plus extra for your desired taste)
    • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
    • 1/2 tablespoon fresh parsley – chopped
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Salad
    • 9+ cups lettuce of your choice
    • 2 bell peppers of choice – julienne
    • 1 cup celery – chopped
    • 2 tablespoons green onions – thinly sliced
    • 1 can (11oz) mandarin orange segments – drained
    • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Directions:

  1. Dressing: In a tightly closed container combine all dressing ingredients and shake until well combined. Refrigerate until serving.
  2. Salad components: In a large bowl, toss all salad ingredients together.
  3. Serving: Drizzle salad dressing over salad, combine and serve immediately.
  4. Left over dressing can be stored in refrigerator.
