As many of you know, I am a big supporter of practicing mindfulness, mediation and yoga. I have several guided imagery meditation I have purchased over the years and I also use the FREE CALM app frequently to help with sleep and meditation. It is important that while things around us may seem chaotic and unpredictable, we stay centered and focused on those things that we can control, like taking care of ourselves.

The CALM app has released a whole FREE platform for each aspect of feeding your soul and realigning yourself with the positive. I wanted to share some of my personal favorite meditations and what CALM app has released.

Here are some of my personal favorites:

The following link was put together by the CALM app, and is a plethora of information for each category listed below. Click here, to find the section heading that speaks to you from the ones listed below.

  • Soothing Meditations: Have you noticed the downward spiral of thoughts that can happen when you’re worried, stressed, or nervous? It’s common to fast forward into an unknown future and play out worst case scenarios in our mind. The antidote is to bring awareness to our thoughts and emotions, and return to presence. This helps recenter and stabilize us in times of uncertainty.
  • Sleep Meditations: Prepare for sleep with a guided meditation designed to help you let go of the day and find deep rest.
  • Sleep Stories (my go-to to help aid sleep!): Sleep Stories are soothing bedtime tales designed to help settle your busy mind and relax your body so that you can drift off to sleep with ease. Allow yourself to get lost in the story.
  • Calm Music: Invite peace and comfort into the mind and heart with these beautiful melodies.
  • Soundscapes: Soothing sonic experiences to create a cozy environment for sleep or relaxation.
  • Calm Body: Movement can help loosen feelings of heaviness and despair. Let go of physical tension and uplift your mood with these mindful movement exercises.
  • Calm Kids: Meditation can empower kids to feel resilient and strong. Use these meditations and Sleep Stories to bring some peace to the kids in your life.
  • Free Mindfulness resources: 8 different downloadable journals, calendars, can calm backgrounds and 5-4-3-2-1 Grounding Exercises.
