These energy balls will fill you up and give you a good boost of energy to get you through your workout. If you’re not one to eat much before you workout but you find you tend to lose some steam by the end these may be the answer for you!
Makes: 18 energy balls | Serves: 9 | Serving Size: 2 energy balls
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oats
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 3/4 cup grated Granny Smith Apple
- 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1/4 cup ground Flax Seed
- parchment paper for storage
Directions:
- Stir all ingredients together in a bowl until well combined.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Roll mixture into 1 to 2 – inch balls, making 18 balls. Store up to a week in an air tight container, separating layers with parchment paper.
