Sweet Potato Fries
I love a good fry, and these sweet potato fries made in the air fryer are a good side dish with any dinner. Sweet potatoes are a good source of fiber, potassium and magnesium and are rich in Vitamin A, B-6 and C. Enjoy!
Serves: 2 | Serving Size: 1/2 of fries
Ingredients:
- 2 sweet potatoes – sliced to desired fry thickness
- salt and pepper
- olive oil cooking spray
Directions:
- In a large bowl, toss sliced potatoes with salt to taste. (Be creative if you’d like and add any seasoning that sounds good to you!)
- Set air fryer to 375 degrees F, fill air fryer basket to half way full, lightly coat with cooking spray. Cook fries for 20 minutes or until desired crispiness. Shake basket or manually turn fries halfway through cooking.
- Season with additional salt to taste when serving. Enjoy!
Recipe notes:
- Try buying sweet potatoes that are similar in size and cut into similar size pieces for even cooking.
- Don’t overcrowd the basket. While it would be nice to throw all the potatoes in at once, an overcrowded basket with overlapping may creating a steaming effect instead of crisping effect and cause mushy fries.
