Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal

As fall weather rolls in so does the cravings for everything pumpkin and comfort. This recipe is one of my favorites, but be creative and make adjustments suited for your taste buds. The great thing about oatmeal is that it is perfect for any meal and can easily be changed up with different additions. So have fun and enjoy!

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fat free milk
  • 1/2 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice

Directions:

  1. Combine milk and oatmeal in a small saucepan, cook over medium-low heat (milk should be steaming, but not boiling) until oats are soft.
  2. Once oats have reached desired doneness pour into serving bowl. Add pumpkin pie spice and all spice, stir with cinnamon stick. Add additional spices as desired. Enjoy!
